The HFI Monza bridle is a complete leather bridle with a wide anatomical headpiece, an anatomically shaped noseband and browband, and rubber reins supplied. It is intended for riders who want their bridle to look tidy and at the same time sit quietly: every part that touches the horse's head is padded and backed with supple leather.
About this bridle
The Monza is a classically executed bridle in which every place where leather meets the head has padded and backed work. That is the starting point of this model: comfort drawn from shape and finish, not from eye-catching extras.
The wide anatomical headpiece is the most defining feature. A wider headpiece lets the weight of the bridle rest on a larger area instead of on a narrow strip behind the ears. Together with the soft leather backing, that makes the Monza interesting when you deliberately choose a comfortably finished bridle.
The noseband is a combined noseband, so a noseband with a flash strap, with an integrated chin pad. The flash strap runs under the bit and keeps the bit steadier in the mouth. The chin pad is attached to the noseband itself, so you do not have to add a separate part. Practical about this model: you can convert the noseband into a French noseband. If you would rather ride without a flash strap later, you do not have to switch to a different bridle for that.
Noseband and browband are both anatomically shaped, padded with supple leather and fitted with decorative embroidery. Combined with the cream stitching, that gives the bridle a classic, well-kept appearance that comes into its own both at home and at a competition.
The buckles are square and made in stainless steel. Stainless steel buckles stay looking good in rain and sweat and need little polishing, which fits a bridle you use daily. The square shape matches the classic line of the model.
The bridle is supplied with 5/8 rubber reins in supple rubber. So you have a complete set and do not need to look for anything extra. Rubber reins give grip, also when it rains or when your horse sweats.
The Monza comes in black and in brown.
